Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Kriya AI Keyboard. Written to be read, not to be survived.

Effective: 26 July 2026 Last updated: 26 July 2026

1. Acceptance

By installing or using the Kriya AI Keyboard app (com.kriya.keyboard), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please uninstall the app. The service is provided by Harshad Salunke, an independent developer in India ("we", "us").

2. Who can use Kriya

You must be 18 or older to create an account. The offline keyboard requires no account; AI features do. You are responsible for keeping your Google sign-in secure — anyone who can sign in as you can act as you.

3. What the service is

We may change, add or remove features. If a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel for a pro-rata refund of the unused period.

4. AI output — read this one

Kriya's agent is powered by a large language model. Like every such model, it can be wrong, incomplete, or confidently mistaken. It is a drafting assistant, not an authority.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Kriya to:

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these rules. Where a suspension isn't urgent, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

6. Your content and your skills

What you write stays yours. We claim no ownership of your text, your drafts, or the skills you build. You grant us only the narrow, revocable licence needed to run the feature you asked for — process the text through the AI model, store the short preview described in the Privacy Policy, and sync your skills to your devices.

If you choose to publish a skill to the Skill Hub, you grant other users a licence to install and use it, and grant us the right to display, moderate and distribute it. You can unpublish at any time; existing installs may keep working. Only publish skills you wrote or have the right to share.

The app, keyboard, brand, design and code are ours. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them — nothing more.

7. Free tier, quotas and fair use

8. Subscriptions and billing

Payments are handled by Cashfree Payments or Google Play Billing. Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time. Full detail — how to cancel, when refunds apply, what happens if a renewal fails — is in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Third-party services

Connecting Google, Notion, Zoom or Slack is optional and governed by their terms as well as ours. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes or data handling by those services. You can disconnect any of them at any time from Profile → Connected apps.

10. Availability

The offline keyboard works with no internet and no server. AI features need our server, and our server is not promised to be perfect. We don't offer an uptime SLA on the free tier. If a paid outage is prolonged and our fault, contact us — we'll extend your subscription or refund the affected period.

11. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Kriya is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, for a free user, is zero). We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profits, lost data, or missed opportunities.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Ending it

You may stop at any time — delete your account (here's how) and uninstall. We may suspend or terminate an account for a serious or repeated breach of §5, for fraud or chargeback abuse, or if we are legally required to. If we terminate an account that hasn't breached these Terms, we refund the unused paid period.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction. Before litigating anything, please email us — nearly everything is solvable in a message.

14. Changes to these Terms

We'll post updates here and change the "Last updated" date. Material changes get in-app notice before they take effect. Continuing to use Kriya after that means you accept the new Terms; if you don't, delete your account.
